A dynamic UK based production company that specializes in making exciting and commercially driven feature films, documentaries and short films across a variety of different genres.
Most recently EQ Films Producer Paul Desira, worked on Breaking Infinity is on release across a variety of different platform in the UK, Ire, USA, CAN, AUS and NZ with other foreign territories selling and AFM (LA) 2023 and EFM (Berlin) 2024.
Paul is a hands-on, well-seasoned, award winning producer with over 20 years’ experience working in film and television. He produced the exciting supernatural thriller EVIL NEVER DIES, released in the UK, North America, AUS and NZ. He Co-Produced HECKLE starring Steve Guttenburg and Dani Dyer released in the UK and US, and BREAKING INFINITY had a UK theatrical release and VOD release in the UK, IRE, US, CAN, AUS and NZ starring Jonny Phillips and Neil Bishop. The short film he produced CHAIN, has won over 20 awards, was nominated for 10 and is currently on Amazon Prime in the UK, US, Japan and Germany.
He was the Development Producer and Consulting Producer of the $20m film ALEXIS COLETTE due to shoot in 2024/25. He started working in features during his internship at Silver Pictures back in 2003. He has also worked on: CAPTAIN AMERICA, RA ONE, THE REEDS, ILL MANORS, GRAVITY (Uncredited), MALICE IN WONDERLAND, WARHORSE, THE POWER and BRIGHT STAR to name a few.
Michael Aston is a freelance producer, a well-trained screen and TV actor, presenter and a member of Equity. He associate produced Evil Never Dies and Heckle. Michael is a qualified and experienced corporate management consultant, with over 25 year’s experience in the field. His management skills include finance, commercial insurance, corporate business development and risk. His experience includes hands-on executive management positions in London – with a corporate bank, an insurance broker PLC, a local government authority and as a senior broker in foreign currency trading.
Currently, Michael is acting in a number of feature films as well as raising finance for the EQ Films’ slate.
